Transition days: 29 June - 1 July

Our Y6 pupils will be visiting Gowerton School for the next 3 days for a range of activities which will help prepare them for their move into Y7. We'll be kicking off with a Gymanfa Ganu on Monday. The three days will give our pupils chance to meet new friends and teachers, gain a better idea of the layout of the school and the way in which lessons operate and also let them know in advance which form they will be moving into. In addition, the 3 days form part of our collaborative transition plans and provide for opportunity for discussions between primary school and secondary school teachers.

Incidentally, this year for the first time our pupils will be recording all their transition project work in a special e folder which can be accessed from both schools, thereby allowing them the chance to continue with work begun at Waunarlwydd once they move to Gowerton.
