WELCOME BACK!

Our topic this term is 'Houses and Homes'.  A clouds sheet detailing what is to be covered this term has been sent out, but can also be found to browse at the bottom of this page.

Role Play

Our role play area for this term is an Estate Agents .  We would be very grateful if we could borrow any related items you may have.  All items will be kept safe and returned by the end of the Autumn Term.

Forest School

Every Tuesday the class have their 'Forest School' session.  This involves use of the outdoors, mainly the Waunarlwydd Woodland Walk, to develop the children's knowledge and understanding of the world and improve their learning.  As the Woodland Walk can get muddy, it is important that each child brings a pair of wellington boots or old shoes/trainers and a spare pair of socks to school every Tuesday.  We will be going outdoors whatever the weather, so a coat is essential!

Our routines:

• Monday and Tuesday: P.E - no jewellery please.
• Tuesday: Forest School session.  Don't forget your wellies!
• Reading books should be returned every week.  The inside cover of the reading record book states which day your child should return their book. 

Just a reminder that there is fruit tuck shop every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at a cost of 20 pence per piece of fruit.
